Refund, Return, and Limited Quality Assurance Policy

1. Research Use Only; No Consumer Use

All products sold by Peptory Labs are offered strictly for laboratory research use only. Products are not intended for human consumption, medical use, veterinary use, household use, cosmetic use, or any other unauthorized purpose. The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring that any purchase, possession, handling, testing, storage, and use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and restrictions.

Peptory Labs makes no representation that any product is appropriate for any use other than lawful research-related purposes expressly permitted by Peptory Labs.

2. All Sales Final

All sales are final. Except as expressly set forth in this Policy, Peptory Labs does not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds for any reason, including without limitation:

• mistaken orders
• duplicate orders
• change of mind
• buyer's remorse
• pricing disputes after purchase
• misunderstanding of product specifications
• dissatisfaction unrelated to a verified fulfillment error or an approved limited quality assurance claim
• delays caused by carrier issues outside Peptory Labs' reasonable control

Because of the nature of the products sold, including handling sensitivity, storage conditions, chain-of-custody concerns, contamination risk, and batch integrity requirements, products that leave the control of Peptory Labs cannot ordinarily be returned, restocked, resold, or credited.

3. No Routine Returns or Exchanges

Peptory Labs does not permit routine returns or exchanges of any product once shipped. Any exception must be expressly authorized in writing by Peptory Labs in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted, processed, or returned at Peptory Labs' expense.

If Peptory Labs elects, in its sole discretion, to authorize any return, the customer must strictly follow all return instructions, and the product must be received in the exact condition required by Peptory Labs. Issuance of return instructions does not guarantee refund, replacement, or credit.

4. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Claims involving items alleged to be damaged in transit, incorrectly shipped, or missing from an order must be submitted to Peptory Labs within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

All such claims must include, at minimum:

• the order number
• purchaser name
• a written description of the issue
• clear photographs of the outer packaging
• clear photographs of the shipping label
• clear photographs of the product(s) received
• any other documentation reasonably requested by Peptory Labs

Failure to report a claim within the required time, or failure to provide sufficient supporting documentation, may result in denial of the claim.

If Peptory Labs determines, in its sole discretion, that a verified fulfillment error occurred, Peptory Labs may elect one of the following remedies as the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy:

• replacement of the affected item
• store credit
• refund of the purchase price actually paid for the affected item

Peptory Labs reserves the right to require return, destruction, or other disposition of any item before issuing any remedy.

5. Limited Quality Assurance Review

Peptory Labs may, in its sole and exclusive discretion, review certain claims alleging that a product materially fails to conform to the batch specification published by Peptory Labs for that specific product and batch.

This is a limited quality assurance review process, not a general satisfaction guarantee, not an open-ended refund policy, and not a performance warranty of any kind.

5.1 Conditions for Eligibility

A claim will not be considered unless all of the following conditions are satisfied:

• the product is traceable to a verified Peptory Labs order and batch;
• the claim is submitted by the original purchaser;
• the product has been stored, handled, and maintained in strict accordance with any instructions, limitations, or reasonable preservation requirements applicable to the product;
• the product packaging, seals, labels, lot information, and related identifiers remain intact to the extent required by Peptory Labs;
• Peptory Labs is given prompt written notice of the claim and a reasonable opportunity to review the claim before any testing is performed;
• any testing is conducted only by a laboratory approved in advance, in writing, by Peptory Labs;
• all chain-of-custody, sampling, packaging, transport, and documentation procedures required by Peptory Labs are followed in full;
• the claimant provides all raw data, certificates, methods, handling records, shipping records, and other materials reasonably requested by Peptory Labs; and
• the reported result demonstrates, to the satisfaction of Peptory Labs, a material deviation from Peptory Labs' published batch specification.

5.2 Peptory Labs' Right to Determine Validity

Peptory Labs reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine:

• whether a claim is complete
• whether the claimant complied with all required procedures
• whether the laboratory and methodology are acceptable
• whether chain of custody and sample integrity were adequately preserved
• whether the product remained uncompromised
• whether any reported deviation is material
• whether any remedy, if any, is appropriate

No claim shall be deemed valid unless and until Peptory Labs expressly approves it in writing.

5.3 Exclusive Remedies for Approved Claims

If, and only if, Peptory Labs approves a claim in writing, Peptory Labs may, in its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies:

• replacement product
• refund of the purchase price actually paid for the affected product
• store credit
• reimbursement of reasonable qualifying third-party testing costs previously approved in writing by Peptory Labs

Any approved remedy shall be the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy. Peptory Labs shall have no obligation to provide any remedy not expressly approved in writing.

6. Exclusions from Coverage

Without limiting any other exclusion in this Policy, Peptory Labs shall have no obligation to provide any refund, replacement, reimbursement, credit, or other remedy for claims arising from or relating to:

• opened, punctured, diluted, mixed, reconstituted, relabeled, repackaged, or otherwise altered products
• improper storage, handling, contamination, misuse, neglect, or accident
• testing performed without prior written approval
• testing by non-approved laboratories
• missing or incomplete documentation
• lack of reliable chain-of-custody evidence
• expired reporting deadlines
• products purchased through unauthorized sellers, resellers, or third-party marketplaces
• differences that Peptory Labs determines are not material
• speculative, indirect, or use-based complaints
• claims based on unauthorized use or non-research use
• carrier delays, weather events, seizure, inspection, customs issues, or other events outside Peptory Labs' reasonable control

7. Shipping Address Accuracy

The purchaser is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and all required delivery information at checkout. Peptory Labs shall not be responsible for loss, delay, nondelivery, or misdelivery resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered shipping information.

If a package is returned due to address error, failed delivery, refusal, or nondelivery not caused by Peptory Labs, any reshipment shall be at the purchaser's expense, and any decision to reship, refund, or credit shall remain in the sole discretion of Peptory Labs.

8. Refused, Abandoned, or Undeliverable Shipments

Packages refused by the recipient, abandoned, unclaimed, or returned as undeliverable may be subject to carrier fees, disposal, loss of product value, or destruction. Peptory Labs may deduct original shipping charges, return charges, handling costs, and any other associated fees from any discretionary credit or refund, if one is issued at all.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If the purchaser believes an order issue exists, the purchaser must first contact Peptory Labs and provide a reasonable opportunity to review and respond before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Peptory Labs reserves the right to contest any chargeback it believes is inconsistent with this Policy or the facts of the transaction. Peptory Labs may submit order records, tracking information, communications, proof of delivery, policy acknowledgments, and other supporting information in response to any dispute.

10. Fraud Prevention and Policy Abuse

Peptory Labs reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders where legally permitted, deny claims, limit quantities, block accounts, or decline future transactions where fraud, abuse, manipulation, bad faith, policy exploitation, or suspicious activity is suspected.

This includes, without limitation:

• repeated unsupported claims
• inconsistent or misleading statements
• attempts to circumvent product-use restrictions
• tampering with packaging or lot identification
• misuse of testing procedures
• unauthorized resale or diversion

11. No Additional Warranties

Except to the extent expressly stated in this Policy, all products are provided "as is" and "as available", without any representation or warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or suitability for any particular application.

Any batch specification, product description, or testing reference is provided solely as product-related information and shall not be construed as a separate warranty, promise of result, or guarantee of suitability for any specific research method or outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peptory Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of use, loss of research time, lost opportunity, lost revenue, lost profits, replacement costs, reputational harm, or third-party claims, arising from or related to any purchase, shipment, product, or claim, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Peptory Labs arising from or related to any order or product shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the purchaser to Peptory Labs for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

13. Reservation of Rights

Peptory Labs reserves the right to interpret, apply, amend, update, or discontinue this Policy at any time, in its sole discretion, without prior notice, provided that the version posted at the time of purchase shall generally govern that transaction unless otherwise required by law.

No waiver, representation, or modification by any employee, contractor, agent, or representative of Peptory Labs shall be binding unless expressly set forth in writing by an authorized representative of Peptory Labs.
